This was a moving and well created film. BUT, just like all other types of ‘let’s save the planet’ genres it always leaves out one element. It’s not even introduced….we as a species need to slow down our reproducing. It’s disgusting already! We’re starting to out number roaches! And on top of that, we don’t even CARE about each other! I know the concept is shrouded with problems by religion and freedom of ‘what-ever you want to call it’, but a real good look at our expansion is never added into the equation unless it’s whispered (and hopefully no one heard). Maybe we haven’t evolved enough to handle the topic anyway. So, it’s business as usual; keep populating and come up with more ideas to handle dwindling resources and the pollution we cause. We’ll also will keep killing defenseless species because their populations get out of control, there’s no place for them to live any more – we need the land for housing…or better yet, another shopping complex. So I ask, when we all go vegan, what do we do with the increased farm animal population? The question is to further my education; I am not, by any means, defending the slaughter-house industry. I just want to know what we do with the excess of animals because we’re vegan – but haven’t stopped reproducing ourselves!
Fantastic. I’m sending this video to all who are not vegan.
Thanks
Karen,
If we all go vegan it will not be overnight. The law of supply and demand would mean that with less demand, there would be fewer and fewer people breeding, slaughtering and selling animals. We would not suddenly have billions of animals needing homes or running feral.
And I agree with you that human overpopulation needs to be addressed.
The answer was postulated 40 yrs ago by Dr Paul Ehrlich.
Reduce the number of humans, on the planet.
